birthday wishes

Each classmate in Henry's class made him a picture for his birthday. The teacher stapled all the drawings together into this great little keepsake book. I was flipping through it again recently, admiring the details. It's filled with cute pictures drawn by the hands of 5 and 6 year olds, how can anything get much more precious than that?

It includes pictures like this

and this

and this...

wait, did you notice something in the upper right hand corner?

Oh, that's right - the devil's number, 666.

I'll be sure to keep this as evidence since it is obviously just too adorable; 'Happy Birthday, Henry from Your Friend, future school-bomb-note kid'.

Oh, when they do TV interviews years from now, you can show them one of the first signs that something was wrong. You'll get paid big bucks for that artwork!

That's actually a very creative idea that makes a great gift.

But I thought you were going to say that the first page had designs that look like sperms.

Maybe not. I'm not an art critic. I don't judge.

At least you'll know who to point at when they come asking questions!

That is a great birthday idea.

I'm pretty sure most kids have a 666 day now and then (I know mine do).

Oh, goodness...I'll be sure to ask that precious little one's name for 11 years down the road. Yikes.

Hilarious.
Funny...I didn't notice the numbers, I was too busy looking at all the hearts on the page.
I think you have more problems than devils and bombs.
You may have someone in hot pursuit.
That might just be worse!

That is such a great idea. Not the evilness of course, but the book.

Wow! Makes you wonder, huh?!? Of course, that looks like Marie's letter B, so it could be harmless too. Right?

When my daughter was about 5 years old she drew a picture for a boy and wrote "evil Satan" on it. When I asked her why she replied
"Because boys like Satan"
I learn so much from her.
